Acro
Acro is a class that was developed to compliment a dancer’s skill set. In Acro you'll learn skills that will lead to back bends, walk-overs, handstands, aerials and more! Acro builds strength and control to execute a variety of skills with safety and precision. Class focuses heavily on developing proper power and alignment to achieve goals.
Basic Tumbling
Basic Tumbling is a class where your student will build a basic foundation for beginning acrobatic skills. With proper technique and safe progressions, students will build confidence and security. We will be working on skills such as forward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, balances and more!
Tiny Tumblers
Tiny Tumblers is an introductory tumbling class for our 3–5-year-old students. This class specifically focuses on basic tumbling skills that are suitable for younger students. Students will build a foundation for basic acrobatic skills. With proper technique and safe progressions, students will build confidence and security. We will be working on age-appropriate skills which may include forward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, balances and more!
Class Attire for Acro/Tumbling: Students should wear fitted clothing that allows them to move easily. No buttons or zippers on clothing. A leotard with fitted shorts or leggings is great, or a one piece fitted shorts unitard. Hair is to be secured back off the face. Bare feet.
We offer a variety of levels of ballet, from pre-ballet through level 5. Students with little to no ballet experience should start at the pre-ballet level if 3 or 4 years old, and level 1 if 5 years and up. Students will work their way up through each level as they progress. Students will learn ballet skills at the barre, center floor, and across the floor, while developing coordination, listening skills, musicality and performance presentation. If you have questions on which level your student should register for, please contact us for correct placement.
Pre-Ballet
Pre-Ballet offers an introduction to music and dance. Students are taught to connect imagery with movement and begin to develop coordination, listening skills and musicality. Pre-Ballet classes introduce basic ballet vocabulary and class etiquette, through a nurturing process for a love of dance.
Ballet 1-4
Ballet 1-4 are all continuous classes that students will progress through year after year. Students start at level 1 and advance from there.
Pre-Pointe
Pre-Pointe is a pointe preparation class for serious ballet students interested in dancing en pointe. Pre-Pointe is a 30-minute class that meets weekly. The class is taken barefoot. A portion of the class is spent doing foot/ankle exercises and stretches.
Pre-Ballet/Hippity Hop (Combo Class)
This class teaches basic ballet and hip-hop skills for our 3-5 year old age group! Students will learn classroom etiquette and performance skills while improving coordination!
Class Attire for Ballet: Students should wear a black leotard with nude/tan or pink tights. No underwear, unless necessary. If underwear is needed, please make sure they are nude in color. No ballet skirts. Hair should be secured back off the face in a tight ballet bun. Leather ballet shoes are preferable. Canvas ballet shoes are also an option.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop incorporates a variety of old and new urban, street and pop dance styles. The dancing represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of hip hop music. Hip hop dance is very dynamic and helps dancers improve flexibility and develop body balance and coordination, while still encouraging individual style.
Hip Hop Fundamentals
Hip Hop Fundamentals is a technique-based class designed to improve overall Hip Hop ability. Students will work to increase knowledge, rhythm, musicality, syncopation, timing, strength, stamina and overall skill. They will explore the execution of old and new urban, street and pop dance styles.
Pre-Ballet/Hippity Hop (Combo Class)
This class teaches basic ballet and hip-hop skills for our 3-5 year old age group. Students will learn classroom etiquette and performance skills while improving coordination.
Mini Hip Hop & Tap (Combo Class)
This class is a combination of hip hop and tap for 3-5 year old students. It is designed to teach students basic dance vocabulary while using creativity through movement. No previous dance experience is needed.
Class attire for Hip Hop: Students will wear clothing that is easy to move in. Loose clothing is ideal. No dresses or skirts. Hair should be secured back off the face. Rubber soled athletic shoes are required and must be worn only in the studio and kept clean! You should purchase specific shoes for this class just as you would for your other classes. Please do not wear your street shoes for this class.
Jazz
Jazz is an upbeat, fast paced style that combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with current forms of popular dance. Classes include warm up, isolations, stretches, across the floor progressions and choreography combinations.
Jazz Pop
This class introduces basic dance movements using fun age-appropriate exercises and teaching techniques to develop coordination, rhythm and confidence.
Mini Jazz
An upbeat, fast paced style of dance geared toward our younger students. This class introduces basic dance movements using fun age-appropriate exercises and teaches techniques to develop coordination, rhythm, confidence and performance skills.
Class attire for Jazz: Students should wear fitted clothing that is easy to move in. Clothing should be free of buttons and zippers. No dresses or skirts. Fitted leggings or bike shorts work great for bottoms. Fitted tank tops or leotards work great for tops. Hair should be secured back off the face. Black jazz shoes are required unless otherwise specified by the teacher.
Leaps and Turns is a technique class designed to improve the overall ability of the student in all forms of dance. Students will work to increase extension, flexibility, turns with more precision and various leaps. Students will focus on a variety of leaps, jumps, chaînès, pirouettes, fouettès, etc., appropriate for age and level. Leaps and Turns skill building assists students with more refined form and technical perspective.
Class attire for Leaps & Turns: Students should wear fitted clothing that is easy to move in. Clothing should be free of buttons and zippers. No dresses or skirts. Fitted leggings or bike shorts work great for bottoms. Fitted t-shirts, tank tops, sports tops or leotards work great for tops. Hair should be secured back off the face. Jazz shoes, ballet shoes, or bare feet are all acceptable for this class.
Lyrical/Contemporary dance is a slower paced interpretive dance that embraces innovation, blending techniques from various genres including classical ballet, jazz and modern dance.
Class attire for all Lyrical/Contemporary: Students should wear fitted clothing that is easy to move in. Clothing should be free of buttons and zippers. No dresses or skirts. Fitted leggings or bike shorts work great for bottoms. Fitted t-shirts, tank tops, sports tops or leotards work great for tops. Hair should be secured back off the face. Tan half-sole ballet shoes are required for this class.
If your child loves dancing and being on stage, they will thrive in this jazz-based class that focuses on dance styles found in Broadway musicals. Students not only learn dance technique but also work on acting skills and performing with emotion and stage presence.
Class attire for all Musical Theatre: Students should wear fitted clothing that is easy to move in. Clothing should be free of buttons and zippers. No dresses or skirts. Fitted leggings or bike shorts work great for bottoms. Fitted t-shirts, tank tops, sports tops or leotards work great for tops. Hair should be secured back off the face. Black jazz shoes are required unless otherwise specified by the teacher.
Learn all the fundamentals of cheerleading including cheers, motions, dances, jumps, kicks and voice projection.
Class attire for Pep Squad: Students should wear fitted clothing that is easy to move in. Clothing should be free of buttons and zippers. No dresses or skirts. Fitted leggings or bike shorts work great for bottoms. Fitted t-shirts, tank tops, sports tops or leotards work great for tops. Hair should be secured back off the face. Athletic shoes should be worn for this class. Cheerleading shoes or tennis shoes are good options.
This class will teach proper stretching technique for before and after dance to prevent injury and make the muscles more pliable. In addition, students will work on improving posture, increasing flexibility and range of motion, and strengthening muscles.
Class attire for Strength & Stretching: Students should wear fitted clothing that is easy to move in. Clothing should be free of buttons and zippers. No dresses or skirts. Fitted leggings or bike shorts work great for bottoms. Fitted t-shirts, tank tops, sports tops or leotards work great for tops. Hair should be secured back off the face. Jazz shoes, ballet shoes, or bare feet are all acceptable for this class.
Tap
Tap classes focus on rhythm, musicality and timing. All classes begin with an energetic warm-up, across the floor exercises and combinations. Our beginner students explore the fundamental steps of tap dance, learn tap terminology, and develop the ability to maintain correct body placement.

Mini Hip Hop & Tap Combo Class
This class is a combination of hip hop and tap for 3-5 year old students. It is designed to teach students basic dance vocabulary while using creativity through movement. No previous dance experience is needed.
Class attire for Tap: Students should wear clothing that allows them to move easily. No buttons or zippers on clothing. Pants should not pose a tripping hazard. Leggings and a t-shirt or tank top works great! Hair is to be secured back off the face. Black tap shoes are required.
