WDC is located at 1331 North Goerig Street, Woodland, WA. We have three studio rooms:  Main Studio A, the first studio by the small parking lot right off the road; Studio B next to the main room, entrance off of the main parking lot along the fence; and Studio D, the second to last door at the end of the main parking lot. Each class is designated a studio room. In your parent portal, in class assignment, it will tell you which studio you will be in.

All students should come to class in proper dance attire (see our Class Attire page) and bring an easily accessible, no spill water bottle with water. If your student will be attending multiple classes in a row, they may want to pack a snack or sack lunch/dinner to eat between classes.

We ask that all parents watch from the windows. During the end of class we will sometimes invite parents to come in and watch. If your student is having a hard time we will do our best to engage them before we ask for your assistance. In most cases, young students tend to do better when they are not in view of their parent/guardian.

While you do not need to stay with your student, we do ask that you ensure we have current phones numbers, emergency contact phone numbers, and current email on file if you will not be close by.

If your child is sick, please be sure to give us a call or send us a message. We need to let the teacher know so they can plan accordingly. There are no refunds should your child be absent from class. If a student is absent for more than one week it may be necessary for the student to schedule a private lesson with the teacher to learn what has been missed. Cost for the private lesson will be at the expense of the parent/guardian. 

When there is inclement weather WDC will generally follow Woodland School District. If Woodland School District closes for the day, we will most likely close. If the schools release early, we will most likely close our classes for the afternoon and evening. We will post on our social media pages and send out emails should this occur. We will offer make-up classes for any classes that WDC has canceled.  If you live in an area that may have different weather than what we have at WDC (e.g. if you live at higher elevations) and you are not able to come to class because of the weather, there will be no credits or refunds given for missed classes.
