After graduating HS April was Program Director at the YMCA for almost 15 years, taught dance part time, and performed in many different venues. April got married in 1999, and started building her family. After 6 kids April took a small break from teaching dance, and began adjudicating for dance competitions. April came back to teaching when Woodland Dance Center opened its doors 2012. While April has experience in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, tumbling and even Tahitian, Tap is one of her favorites.
