Our Dance Instructors
Miss Teala
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Teala began dancing at the age of four. She is trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and modern, and has carried her passion for dance throughout her life. As a young adult, she performed with Pivot Dance Company, where she continued to grow as an artist before stepping away from the stage to focus on her family.
Her love for dance came full circle when her daughter, Emery, began taking classes at WDC. Teala started as a substitute teacher and quickly realized how much she missed being immersed in the dance world. Now teaching full-time, she is grateful for the opportunity to share her knowledge and passion with her students. Watching them learn, create, and grow each year brings her immense joy.
Miss Stephanie
Stephanie has been dancing for over 30 years. She began with the Rocky Mountain Stars performance team at the age of 10. Stephanie then found a passion in cheerleading. Competition school cheer continued through Junior High and High School. She placed 1st in Cheerleaders of America Nationals her Sophomore year as a soloist. She currently keeps a busy lifestyle with a family, a full time job outside of the studio, as well as teaching dance fitness classes with Fox Fitness. Stephanie believes that keeping dance alive in our community is so incredibly important. She enjoys being a part of keeping kids healthy and the art of dance alive. You will find Miss Stephanie teaching Hip Hop classes and cheering on her own daughter as a dancer at WDC.
Miss Hannah
Miss Hannah grew up and danced in the Longview, Washington area. She started at the age of 3 and has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Acro. One of her favorite parts of dance was attending workshops and conventions, learning from numerous artists and instructors, soaking in all that she could. Once Hannah graduated high school, she stepped away from the dance world to focus on college. Now that schooling is complete Hannah is excited to be back to dancing and sharing her love and dedication of dance with students.
